Can Chiropractic Care Help with Ear Infections in Kids?

THE specific BLOG

Dr. Chris Collins

When a child is suffering with chronic ear infections, it can be tough.

Something painful is happening in their body and often they can’t communicate their discomfort.

As a parent, you just want to help and often don’t know how.

We often see great results in our practice when helping these kids, and here’s how:

When they come in for care, we want to find out if they are having issues around the upper cervical spine.

We start with scanning the nervous system by reading the thermographic readings and looking at how consistent those readings are. If we see imbalance consistently over time, it’s likely there is a nervous system related problem in that area and that we could try correcting with adjustments to that bone.

Next, we also look for things like muscle findings or motion findings that would be abnormal findings for function for that segment and we can adjust that area.

How long does this process take?

Usually we know, within a couple of visits, if the child will respond to adjustments and often we see evidence in their behavior and their relationship to their ear infections. We hope to restore proper functions within a couple of months.
